# GIGAPOD5 vs AsCode

The clearest difference is update cadence: AsCode at every 3 weeks against GIGAPOD5's every 10 months. GIGAPOD5's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GIGAPOD5 ships an update every 10 months, AsCode every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
