# Comi vs POPS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Comi at 96% against POPS's 35%. Comi also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3). POPS's advantage is ratings volume (838 vs 60). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comi sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and POPS sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comi holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: POPS has 838 ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 96% of Comi's written reviews are positive against 35% of POPS's.

Comi ships an update every 2 months, POPS monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
