# EyeMeasure vs PDCheck AR

EyeMeasure and PDCheck AR both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of PDCheck AR's written reviews are positive against 33% of EyeMeasure's. EyeMeasure's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (23K vs 4.1K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for EyeMeasure against 4.9 for PDCheck AR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EyeMeasure has 23K ratings behind it against 4.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of EyeMeasure's written reviews are positive against 70% of PDCheck AR's.
