# Simple Coin vs Casper Wallet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Casper Wallet at none against Simple Coin's 1. Casper Wallet also leads on ratings volume (395 vs 15). Simple Coin's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (83% vs 74%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Coin sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Casper Wallet asks for nothing beyond the download.

Casper Wallet holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Casper Wallet has 395 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Simple Coin's written reviews are positive against 74% of Casper Wallet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simple Coin ships an update fortnightly, Casper Wallet every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
