# Router Admin Setup vs Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Router Admin Setup at 58% against Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer's 10%. Router Admin Setup also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 367). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Router Admin Setup sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer has 2.6K ratings behind it against 367, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Router Admin Setup's written reviews are positive against 10% of Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Router Admin Setup ships an update weekly, Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
