# Lie Detector by the Expression vs Thermal Vision

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lie Detector by the Expression at 91% against Thermal Vision's 38%. Lie Detector by the Expression also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). Thermal Vision's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (474 vs 60). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lie Detector by the Expression sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Thermal Vision sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thermal Vision holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thermal Vision has 474 ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Lie Detector by the Expression's written reviews are positive against 38% of Thermal Vision's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
