# Hover 2 vs HollyView

The clearest difference is rating: Hover 2 at 3.7 against HollyView's 2.4. Hover 2 also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). HollyView's advantage is ratings volume (73 vs 3) and review sentiment (15% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hover 2 holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HollyView has 73 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Hover 2's written reviews are positive against 15% of HollyView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hover 2 ships an update weekly, HollyView monthly. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
