# Hexium vs Connect and Blast

The clearest difference is rating: Connect and Blast at 5.0 against Hexium's 4.0. Connect and Blast also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (17 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hexium sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Connect and Blast sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Connect and Blast holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Connect and Blast has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hexium ships an update every 4 months, Connect and Blast monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
