# Magic Stamp vs Pintly

The clearest difference is rating: Pintly at 5.0 against Magic Stamp's 4.6. Pintly also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). Magic Stamp's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pintly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Stamp has 30 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Magic Stamp's written reviews are positive against 53% of Pintly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Stamp ships an update every 5 weeks, Pintly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
