# kitUP vs GURUCAN

The clearest difference is rating: kitUP at 4.3 against GURUCAN's 3.2. kitUP also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 9). GURUCAN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (42% vs 13%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. kitUP sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and GURUCAN sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

kitUP holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: kitUP has 1.4K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of kitUP's written reviews are positive against 42% of GURUCAN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

kitUP ships an update fortnightly, GURUCAN every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
