# North Hennepin CC vs Kodent

The clearest difference is rating: Kodent at 5.0 against North Hennepin CC's 4.5. Kodent also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks). North Hennepin CC's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (106 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kodent holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: North Hennepin CC has 106 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of North Hennepin CC's written reviews are positive against 67% of Kodent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
