# AlbumCamera vs WorkCam

The clearest difference is update cadence: WorkCam at every 10 days against AlbumCamera's every 9 months. WorkCam also leads on ratings volume (196 vs 14). AlbumCamera's advantage is review sentiment (92% vs 67%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlbumCamera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WorkCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AlbumCamera holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkCam has 196 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 92% of AlbumCamera's written reviews are positive against 67% of WorkCam's.

AlbumCamera ships an update every 9 months, WorkCam every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
