# Guru VPN vs Files Hub

The clearest difference is rating: Guru VPN at 4.5 against Files Hub's 2.5. Guru VPN also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 2) and chart position (#59 vs unranked). Files Hub's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Guru VPN sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Files Hub sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Guru VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guru VPN has 1.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Guru VPN ships an update every 10 days, Files Hub every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
