# Faster Multi Documents Scanner vs PDF Gear

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PDF Gear at 85% against Faster Multi Documents Scanner's 50%. PDF Gear also leads on ratings volume (8.7K vs 1). Faster Multi Documents Scanner's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Faster Multi Documents Scanner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Gear has 8.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Faster Multi Documents Scanner's written reviews are positive against 85% of PDF Gear's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Faster Multi Documents Scanner ships an update every 3 weeks, PDF Gear monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
