# Teleprompter.com vs Kaption

The clearest difference is update cadence: Teleprompter.com at weekly against Kaption's every 2 months. Teleprompter.com also leads on ratings volume (30K vs 5) and chart position (#89 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter.com sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Kaption sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teleprompter.com holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter.com has 30K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Teleprompter.com ships an update weekly, Kaption every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
