# Speed Typer vs Type

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Type at none against Speed Typer's 3. Type also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed Typer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Type asks for nothing beyond the download.
