# PlanKit vs AboutMyDevice

The clearest difference is price: AboutMyDevice at Free against PlanKit's $4.99. AboutMyDevice also leads on rating (3.5 vs 2.8). PlanKit's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

AboutMyDevice is free to download; PlanKit costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AboutMyDevice holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlanKit has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
