# MUGA vs Goald

The clearest difference is rating: MUGA at 5.0 against Goald's 4.0. MUGA also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). Goald's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (20 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MUGA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Goald has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MUGA ships an update every 2 months, Goald weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
