# i vs Connect Plus+

The clearest difference is rating: i at 5.0 against Connect Plus+'s 4.3. i also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Connect Plus+'s advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

i holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Connect Plus+ has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

i ships an update every 4 months, Connect Plus+ every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
