# AllWest.TV vs DTC Cable

The clearest difference is rating: DTC Cable at 5.0 against AllWest.TV's 4.2. AllWest.TV's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DTC Cable holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AllWest.TV has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AllWest.TV ships an update every 3 months, DTC Cable every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
