# Andares vs BugaTaxi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BugaTaxi at none against Andares's 3. BugaTaxi also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Andares's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Andares sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. BugaTaxi asks for nothing beyond the download.

BugaTaxi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Andares has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Andares ships an update monthly, BugaTaxi every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
