# Duck Tech vs Walker's Link

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Duck Tech at 75% against Walker's Link's 14%. Duck Tech also leads on ads (none vs shown) and chart position (#193 vs unranked). Walker's Link's advantage is price (Free vs $4.99) and rating (4.5 vs 3.9). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Walker's Link is free to download; Duck Tech costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Walker's Link holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Walker's Link has 3K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Duck Tech's written reviews are positive against 14% of Walker's Link's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Duck Tech ships an update every 39 months, Walker's Link every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
