# Showpass vs AUS.TV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AUS.TV at 100% against Showpass's 16%. AUS.TV also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Showpass's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AUS.TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Showpass has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 16% of Showpass's written reviews are positive against 100% of AUS.TV's.

Showpass ships an update fortnightly, AUS.TV every 3 months. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
