# Notes Writer Browser vs Kanban

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Notes Writer Browser at 3.2K against Kanban's 279. Kanban's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes Writer Browser sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Kanban sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Notes Writer Browser against 4.5 for Kanban. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notes Writer Browser has 3.2K ratings behind it against 279, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 48% of Notes Writer Browser's written reviews are positive against 46% of Kanban's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
