# Notes Writer Browser vs Paragraph

The clearest difference is rating: Notes Writer Browser at 4.6 against Paragraph's 4.0. Notes Writer Browser also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (3.2K vs 12). Paragraph's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (67% vs 48%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes Writer Browser sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Paragraph asks for nothing beyond the download.

Notes Writer Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notes Writer Browser has 3.2K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Notes Writer Browser's written reviews are positive against 67% of Paragraph's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notes Writer Browser ships an update fortnightly, Paragraph every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
