# Notes Writer Browser vs Ripple

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ripple at 88% against Notes Writer Browser's 48%. Ripple also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (17.5 vs 26.0). Notes Writer Browser's advantage is ratings volume (3.2K vs 10). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes Writer Browser sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Ripple sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
