# Notes, To vs Notes Air

The clearest difference is rating: Notes, To at 4.8 against Notes Air's 4.4. Notes, To also leads on ratings volume (108 vs 8). Notes Air's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes, To sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Notes Air sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notes, To holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notes, To has 108 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Notes, To's written reviews are positive against 100% of Notes Air's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notes, To ships an update every 6 weeks, Notes Air every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
