# Loop Chain vs Lonely Line Puzzle

The clearest difference is rating: Loop Chain at 4.6 against Lonely Line Puzzle's 3.0. Loop Chain also leads on ratings volume (22 vs 2). Lonely Line Puzzle's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 17 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop Chain sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Lonely Line Puzzle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loop Chain holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loop Chain has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Loop Chain ships an update every 17 months, Lonely Line Puzzle every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
