# ULar vs GridMakr

The clearest difference is update cadence: GridMakr at weekly against ULar's fortnightly. ULar's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ULar sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 3 months and GridMakr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ULar ships an update fortnightly, GridMakr weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
