# Golf Battle vs Stinger Golf

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Stinger Golf at 81% against Golf Battle's 39%. Stinger Golf also leads on ads (none vs shown). Golf Battle's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (402K vs 93). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Golf Battle sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Stinger Golf sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf Battle holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf Battle has 402K ratings behind it against 93, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Golf Battle's written reviews are positive against 81% of Stinger Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
