# VIPA App vs G

The clearest difference is update cadence: VIPA App at every 3 weeks against G's every 8 months. VIPA App also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support. G's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 49%) and ratings volume (366 vs 95). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VIPA App holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 95 and 366 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of VIPA App's written reviews are positive against 60% of G's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VIPA App ships an update every 3 weeks, G every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
