# Flow vs Pommmo

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pommmo at free against Flow's freemium. Pommmo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (16.2 vs 26.0). Flow's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 2) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Pommmo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pommmo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flow has 1.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flow ships an update every 4 weeks, Pommmo every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
