# Flow vs Fling

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fling at every 5 days against Flow's every 4 weeks. Fling also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Flow's advantage is device support (5 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Fling sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flow ships an update every 4 weeks, Fling every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
