# ReadingIQ vs Questsprouts

The clearest difference is update cadence: Questsprouts at every 2 days against ReadingIQ's every 2 months. Questsprouts also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). ReadingIQ's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReadingIQ sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Questsprouts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Questsprouts holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ReadingIQ has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ReadingIQ ships an update every 2 months, Questsprouts every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
