# Focuster vs Timestripe

The clearest difference is rating: Timestripe at 4.5 against Focuster's 3.7. Timestripe also leads on ratings volume (124 vs 6). Focuster's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focuster sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Timestripe sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timestripe holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timestripe has 124 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Focuster's written reviews are positive against 64% of Timestripe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
