# Drive Weather vs WeatherWise.app

The clearest difference is ads: WeatherWise.app at none against Drive Weather's shown. Drive Weather's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (13K vs 804). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drive Weather sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and WeatherWise.app sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Drive Weather against 4.6 for WeatherWise.app. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drive Weather has 13K ratings behind it against 804, so its average is the more settled of the two.
