# WKTY vs PWYA

The clearest difference is rating: PWYA at 4.8 against WKTY's 4.0. PWYA also leads on ratings volume (323 vs 6). WKTY's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 26 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PWYA holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PWYA has 323 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WKTY ships an update every 2 months, PWYA every 26 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
