# Modern Forms vs Mlily Control

The clearest difference is rating: Modern Forms at 4.2 against Mlily Control's 2.1. Modern Forms also leads on ratings volume (4K vs 20). Mlily Control's advantage is review sentiment (45% vs 13%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Modern Forms holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Modern Forms has 4K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Modern Forms's written reviews are positive against 45% of Mlily Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Modern Forms ships an update every 3 weeks, Mlily Control monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
