# HQAM Remote vs PLD2

The clearest difference is update cadence: PLD2 at every 3 weeks against HQAM Remote's every 4 months. HQAM Remote's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HQAM Remote ships an update every 4 months, PLD2 every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
