# Namejs' Ring vs Stonegate

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Namejs' Ring at 10.0 against Stonegate's 15.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Namejs' Ring sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stonegate sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Namejs' Ring ships an update every 10 days, Stonegate every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
