# VetTechPrep vs AAVSB Test Prep

The clearest difference is rating: AAVSB Test Prep at 4.0 against VetTechPrep's 3.6. VetTechPrep's advantage is ratings volume (39 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VetTechPrep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AAVSB Test Prep sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AAVSB Test Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VetTechPrep has 39 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VetTechPrep ships an update every 3 months, AAVSB Test Prep every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
