# Beam vs 디어 deer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 디어 deer at 88% against Beam's 54%. 디어 deer also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Beam's advantage is ratings volume (6.5K vs 32) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Beam holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beam has 6.5K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Beam's written reviews are positive against 88% of 디어 deer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Beam ships an update every 3 weeks, 디어 deer every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
