# SitStand Desk vs Smart Move+

The clearest difference is update cadence: Smart Move+ at every 5 weeks against SitStand Desk's every 6 months. Smart Move+ also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SitStand Desk ships an update every 6 months, Smart Move+ every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
