# Activity Plus vs Forrest

The clearest difference is ads: Activity Plus at none against Forrest's shown. Activity Plus also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 230) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Forrest's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 51%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Activity Plus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Forrest sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Activity Plus against 4.6 for Forrest. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Activity Plus has 2K ratings behind it against 230, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 51% of Activity Plus's written reviews are positive against 74% of Forrest's.

Activity Plus ships an update fortnightly, Forrest monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
