# Star Trek Fleet Command vs Ant Legion

The clearest difference is update cadence: Star Trek Fleet Command at every 4 days against Ant Legion's every 3 weeks. Star Trek Fleet Command also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (68K vs 3.9K). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Star Trek Fleet Command sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Ant Legion sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Star Trek Fleet Command holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Star Trek Fleet Command has 68K ratings behind it against 3.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Star Trek Fleet Command's written reviews are positive against 33% of Ant Legion's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Star Trek Fleet Command ships an update every 4 days, Ant Legion every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
