# DoNotPay vs Trace Mediaa

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Trace Mediaa at 75% against DoNotPay's 11%. DoNotPay's advantage is ratings volume (7.6K vs 4) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DoNotPay sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $35.99 per 3 months and Trace Mediaa sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DoNotPay holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DoNotPay has 7.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of DoNotPay's written reviews are positive against 75% of Trace Mediaa's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DoNotPay ships an update every 10 days, Trace Mediaa every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
