# Diem vs EBT Map

The clearest difference is rating: EBT Map at 4.5 against Diem's 1.3. EBT Map also leads on ratings volume (218 vs 16). Diem's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EBT Map sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Diem asks for nothing beyond the download.

EBT Map holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EBT Map has 218 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Diem's written reviews are positive against 23% of EBT Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Diem ships an update every 2 weeks, EBT Map every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
