# Pvolve Streaming vs Ruby Pilates

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ruby Pilates at none against Pvolve Streaming's 10. Pvolve Streaming's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (9.9K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pvolve Streaming sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Ruby Pilates asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Pvolve Streaming against 5.0 for Ruby Pilates. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pvolve Streaming has 9.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pvolve Streaming ships an update fortnightly, Ruby Pilates every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
