# Pvolve Streaming vs Next Set

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pvolve Streaming at freemium against Next Set's subscription. Pvolve Streaming also leads on ratings volume (9.9K vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). Next Set's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pvolve Streaming sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Next Set sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Pvolve Streaming against 5.0 for Next Set. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pvolve Streaming has 9.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Pvolve Streaming's written reviews are positive against 100% of Next Set's.

Pvolve Streaming ships an update fortnightly, Next Set every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
