The clearest difference is rating: みてねみまもりGPS at 4.6 against ポケットアリス(PocketAlice)'s 3.0. (PocketAlice)'s advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (4.4K vs 42). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GPS holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ポケットアリス(PocketAlice) has 4.4K ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of ポケットアリス(PocketAlice)'s written reviews are positive against 23% of みてねみまもりGPS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GPS every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
